Light: A Foundation For Health

Perhaps the most critical of all the “nutrients” for health is LIGHT. In a modern world where we are exposed to artificial lightning and frequencies, it is important to return to nature. Natural sunlight is the best form of light for our health. By waking with the sun and receiving early morning light exposure, we receive “downloads” of information from the beneficial light frequencies that help to regulate physiological process in our body – that means better health and sleep!

Blue Light Dangers

Blue light, a component of visible light emitted by devices and artificial lights, can have both beneficial and detrimental effects on human health. While blue light during the day can improve alertness and cognitive function, excessive exposure, especially at night, can disrupt sleep, potentially leading to other health issues. It is important for proper circadian rhythm to avoid blue light when the sun begins to set. We recommend wearing these blue blocker glasses at night!

Light In Your Home

Almost all modern lighting is detrimental to your health. LED lightbulbs are the biggest culprit for toxic blue light and flicker exposure. We recommend the old fashion incandescent bulbs. These bulbs most closely mimic natural candle light and often contain more of the beneficial red light wavelengths found in natural sunlight.
